Parineeti Chopra's 2021 appears to be the best. With films like Saina, The Girl On The Train, and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar - Parineeti Chopra's last three films have been a hit. She has received quite a lot critical acclaim too for these films. Talking about the same, in an exclusive interview with us, Parineeti opened up on how she missed all the appreciation and love of the audience as her few films were flop.
Talking about the appreciation coming her way again with content-driven films, Parineeti said, "It feels like the old days are back again. I think I was missing that. I was missing that sort of appreciation and critical acclaim. And more than that audience love. I was missing all of that in previous few films. I had promised myself that I would do films in which I could showcase my talent and do work that the audience expect out of me. Sometime you want all that but it doesn't. So I am happy that it is working out."
When asked about the phase with a series of flop films, Parineeti said that it was a two way thing. "I think it was a two way thing. Somewhere I was making wrong choices of the wrong films and somewhere people were blaming me for doing something wrong instead of questioning the material and films as well. Suddenly people started saying that 'Parineeti ko acting nahi aati'. But I am the same actor, I am just in the wrong film. So somewhere that miscommunication was happening."
Parineeti Chopra further expressed gratitude that despite the low phase, senior directors, senior producers and audience never gave up on her and never wrote her off. She stated that their belief in her kept her motivated to do work. Talking about her upcoming film, Parineeti Chopra refrained from revealing any details about Animal with Ranbir Kapoor.
