While the world, especially fans of Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra, was regaling at the spectacular trailer of Bajirao Mastani, somebody was fuming apparently. We already told you how one of the kins of Peshwa Bajirao has taken offence to the dance off between Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in Pinga . Now, yet another descendant Prasadrao Peshwe has found anomalies in the teaser and trailer of the film, leading him to write a letter to the Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. He seeks CM's intervention in this case. He wants him to investigate the matter!

Peshwe feels the 'said cinema' has altered history in the name of cinematic liberty. He also has issues with the Pinga song which has been picturised on the wives of Peshwa Bajirao I, Kashibai and Mastani. He called it an item song as according to him the choreography and costumes are of similar nature. It is an integral Maharashtrian culture and shouldn't have been altered with, as per him. He spoke to the PTI saying, "The historical personalities are always a matter of respect. The picturisation of the said film, the historical references of the period and the story appear to be perverted. "As I could not withstand the insult of Maratha history, Marathi ethos and Indian culture, I am making this appeal to you that the Maharashtra government pay attention, review the entire film, and with proper inquiry arrive at an appropriate decision," wrote Peshwe in his letter to the CM.

It seems Sanjay Leela Bhansali will have to wade through a lot of hassles to get his film released. Fortunately for him, the objections didn't arise a just before the release like Goliyon Ki Raasleela - Ram Leela!
