Khan and Raju Hirani's second collaboration PK which released on December 19 is still going rock steady at the box office...
Thanks to Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani, 2014 ended on high note with their film PK which not only impressed the audience and critics alike but also got cash registers jingling. What's even more commendable is that Aamir-Anushka Sharma starrer also managed to pull in crowd to the cinema halls overseas as well. And that's one big reason why PK has raked in big moolah at the ticket windows overall. In fact, just a few days back at the Indian box office, AK's film created history by becoming the first film to enter the Rs 300 crore club. And as of now its total domestic collection stands at Rs 313.71 crore which wethinks is outstanding.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted a while back, "#PK [Week 3] Mon 4.42 cr, Tue 4.02 cr. Highest 19th Day. Grand total - 313.71 cr nett. India biz. ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER."
As for the worldwide collection, well, Aamir starrer has surpassed the Rs 600 crore and has now become the highest worldwide grosser of all time. According to a trade portal, the film has made Rs 601 crore in total till date.
