Prabhas says his dream is fulfilled with Rajamouli’s Rs 213-crore flick Baahubali!

SS Rajamouli's magnum opus has been shattering box office records ever since Day 1

The Telugu star has been on cloud since ever since Baahubali released to a stupendous opening last week around the world. Starring as Amarendra Baahubali, the prince, and Shivudu, destiny's child, in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, Prabhas now says his dream is fulfilled. The box office collections have crossed Rs 213 crores in its five-day collections around the world.

Prabhas has been hailed for his wonderful acting in the first part of Baahubali and people are looking forward to part two that will release in 2016. When asked how he felt about Baahubali, the Telugu star said that it had always been his dream to act in a period war film. He added that his dream was small compared to how big Baahubali was in terms of scale and production. “It’s once in a lifetime opportunity and I am lucky to be a part of it,” said Prabhas proudly about the biggest production in Indian cinema.

Prabhas has been working really hard for this film. For the character of Amarendra Baahubali, Prabhas had to put on weight and was 100 kg and for Shivudu he came down to 87 kg. The star will spend three and a half years of his career on this film and he says he can’t believe he’s making a debut across so many languages including Tamil and Hindi. The star praised Rajamouli for the way he works and feels he is lucky to be part of path-breaking movie in Indian cinema.
