But this time it has nothing to do with the actress...
Two years back, around this same time,
Ness Wadia was booked for assaulting ex-girlfriend Preity Zinta during an IPL match. Now, two years later he has been booked again for assault and intimidation but this time it has nothing to do with the actress. This time, he abused and assaulted his driver Dhirendra Mishra for not agreeing to drive faster. Shocking, ain't it?
According to a report in a leading daily, the MRA Marg Police, Mumbai registered a non-cognizable complaint against Ness Wadia after the driver registered a complaint against him. As an officer revealed to TOI, "Dhirendra Mishra told us that
Ness Wadia asked him several times to drive faster as he wanted to reach Fort early. The driver told that he maintained the speed and stopped at all signals. But when they crossed the JJ flyover, Wadia allegedly used foul language against him, hit him on the head and also kicked him."
The police have registered a non-cognizable offence under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 504 (intentional insult) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC. The officer added, "We will not summon Wadia without a court order as its a non-cognizable offence."
The driver wanted the police to lodge an FIR but the police only registered a non-cognizable offence against Ness Wadia. In the meanwhile, Ness recorded a statement on Thursday in connection with the case registered against him by
