The original Premam made in Malayalam also had a great soundtrack.
Naga Chaitanya and Shruti Haasan’s Premam is being looked forward to by all fans. It is the Telugu remake of the blockbuster Malayalam hit of the same name. The song Evare is out and it is a wonderfully melodious number. It is on the lines of the Malayalam track Malare. The music has been composed by Rajesh Murugesan and Vijay Yesudas is the singer. Shreemani has penned the lyrics. It features Shruti Haasan as a simple village damsel and Naga Chaitanya as a young and ardent lover. Vijay Yesudas is the song of acclaimed singer KJ Yesudas. Like in the original film, Naga Chaitanya will be shown in three different shades in the film.
It is a remake of the Telugu hit that starred Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi. One of Malayalam cinema’s biggest hits, Premam bagged Sai Pallavi an award at SIMA awards 2016. The first look of the film has got good reviews and the song also strikes a chord with its melody and simplicity. People are wondering if director Chandoo Mondeti has done justice to the original. The young actor’s last few films have earned him good reviews and he is hoping to continue that streak with Premam.
In fact, earlier both Premam and Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo were supposed to release in September. However, the other film is facing some issues. The director of Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo is facing many issues with South superstar Simbu, which is leading to ambiguity in release date of Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo. So, Naga Chaitanya decided to release Premam first. As for Shruti Haasan, after a series of delays, the Sabash Naidu team will resume shooting in Vizag. The film stars Kamal Haasan in the lead role.
