Colors TV's Mughal-E-Azam has become the talk-of-the-town. Made by the Prithvi Vallabh team, the show is surely going to offer a visual treat to the audience. Buzz is that Shaheer Sheikh has been roped in to essay the character of Prince Salim. The actor has already been part of a historical show, Mahabharat, and stunned everyone with his acting chops. The casting of the show is currently on and many names are cropping up everyday. While the team was still searching for the one to play Anarkali, latest reports suggest that the team has got the one. And it is none other than, Prithvi Vallabh actress, Sonarika Bhadoria. A source informed TOI, "Several actresses were considered for the part, but when we thought of Sonarika, we realised that she fit the bill perfectly. While things have been formalised verbally, she is yet to sign on the dotted line." Sonarika became a household name after her stint as Parvati in Life OK's popular show, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev. She was last seen as the protagonist on Prithvi Vallabh. Thus, with so many historical and mythological shows in her kitty, we can be sure that she will set the small screen on fire with this show. We are also eager to see the sizzling chemistry between the duo. Aren't you?
