So what did they do together?
Priyanka Chopra's husky sexy voice and Jodie Foster's dialogue style delivery of Britney Spears Toxic is indeed the best thing you will watch on the internet today. It's damn hilarious! Britney has been one of the popular singers around, and it's high time we have got a single from her. The Hit Me Baby One More Time singer had been teasing a new single for long, and many of us, both commoners and celebs, are waiting for that for a long time. In fact many of these celebs have been doing their own rendition of her songs, including her famous number Toxic. And in that list of celebs, joins our very own Priyanka Chopra.
She is not alone in her musical homage to Britney Spears. She is joined by Academy Award winning actress turned director Jodie Foster. Wow! That's one interesting combo.
Priyanka Chopra had posted the video of their 'homage' on her Insta timeline and we instantly loved their version. Both Jodie and she are seen singing Toxic in their own ways, and that makes the video truly funny. Jodie Foster reads the lyrics in total poker face mode, and sometimes even questions the meaning of the lyrics.
Priyanka Chopra meanwhile, fully 'immerses' into the song and sing with so much passion that it sounds orgasmic. Of course, she is having a lot of fun with it.
She tagged the video as this, "Reinventing #Toxic the #FosterChopra way! So much fun! #JodieFoster...I hope we make @britneyspears proud! #lyricalimprov @wmag"
Yup, Britney Spears would be proud.
This video is another of many proof that Priyanka Chopra is climbing ladders of success in Hollywood as fast as she can. Earlier we had reported that Priyanka Chopra had been termed as Hollywood's latest IT girl of the year, despite her Hollywood debut only arriving next year, by a popular magazine.
