Priyanka Chopra is not a global star for no reason. She has been into social service and working towards the betterment of mankind across the globe. The Sky is Pink actress, was recently honoured with the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award for her philanthropic work. For the unversed, Priyanka is the goodwill ambassador of Child Rights with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). The organisation held a Snowflake Ball event which was attended by Priyanka and her mother, Madhu Malati. Indeed, the mother was super proud of her daughter.
Priyanka Chopra who is quite active on social media shared the video of her mother hugging her out, feeling proud of the moment when her daughter is being recognised for her contribution to society. It was a boomerang video, in which we can see Madhu hugging Priyanka. PC captioned the image saying, "Nothing makes me happier than proud mama hug." Priyanka shared the video of her speech at the ball on her Instagram handle as well. Priyanka explained philanthropy in the caption of her post which read: "Philanthropy today has gone beyond just funding projects. Be disruptive, show compassion and care, be catalytic in our actions and solutions. Giving back is no longer a choice, it has to be a way of life." Have a look at the video here:
