Veteran actress Sridevi who was last seen in English Vinglish after a 15 year hiatus in her filmi career, is all set to rock the big screen once again with the much anticipated Tamil film Puli. While talking to a leading entertainment daily, she reveals whether her daughter Jhanvi Kapoor will enter the industry.
Speaking about Jhanvi's interest in films she says, "Which child is not interested in acting? Every child wants to be an actor. And there is nothing wrong with that. But it is not an easy job. It requires a lot of hard work and dedication. If they are ready to put that effort, then why not?" So, basically, Sri neither confirmed nor denied if Jhanvi will be the newest-star kid-on-the-block!
It is rather strange that the veteran actress is going back and forth on her statements. As, recently, when the grapevine was rife with speculation that Jhanvi will star opposite Tamil film heartthrob Salmaan Dalquer in his next, Sri rubbished the report as a mere rumour stating that her daughter only wants to concentrate on her education for now.
