The latest twists and turns in the Zee TV show are a yawn fest; to create some lighter moments the makers have introduced an item number of sorts
In the recent episode of Qubool Hai, we saw how Sanam (Surbhi Jyoti) is distraught that Aahil (Karanvir Bohra) is away from her and she is back to being the servant of the house. Tanveer (Amrapali Gupta) is obviously leaving no stone unturned to humiliate Sanam.
In the upcoming episode of Qubool Hai, Tanveer is throwing a party at home. However, since her entertainer ditched her at the last minute, she compels Sanam to take up the role of the entertainer and do a mujra for the crowd. Surbhi Jyoti will be performing the mujra on the song Dil mera muft ka from the film Agent Vinod.
An excited Surbhi said, “I just love the dance form. I did not see any other video because I wanted to give it my own flavor and twist. I picked a dark blue and silver ethnic dress and it was perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed my performance. The set was also decorated in such a way that it added to the whole feel of the performance. It was very difficult for me because while performing the mujra, I had to portray Sanam’s character and all that she’s going through… On the other hand, one required a completely different set of expressions that are typical to a mujra. Yes, it was a challenging scene for me but I think I have managed to pull it off. I can’t wait to hear what the audience has to say about the act!” Well we are sure Saroj Khan (ace choreographer) will also have a few things to add to the comments once she sees the act.
Apparently, Karanvir couldn’t stop himself from pulling Surbhi’s leg. So after her performance, he said, “Sanam, once you are done with your Mujra, we want you to serve us drinks as well!” Giggle giggle...
While Surbhi had no qualms about performing a mujra, her character feels completely the opposite of that. Watch the performance and tell us what you think BollywoodLifers.
