Raghava Lawrence has had a wonderful 2015 so far. Not only his horror comedy film Muni 3 raked Rs 100 crore at box office, he also made headlines when he narrated a script to none other than Rajinikanth.
While Lawrence, basking in the success of Muni 3, has launched his two upcoming films Mottai Siva Ketta Siva and Naga, he has also decided to donate Rs 1 crore as charity in the name of late ex -president APJ Abdul Kalam. It is being said that he has donated the advance money that was given to him for his upcoming films.
Speaking to the media, Lawrence said,"I once helped a woman anonymously to get tickets for my film Kanchana 1. At that time I was not a huge star. After Kanchana became a hit, Sun TV approached for second part. I immediately thought of the woman I had helped. I'm what I'm today because of such women. So I decided to do something for the society".
" I want 100 youngsters to take charge of the money and spend it for good causes. I have named this trust Abdul Kalam Trust where others can also contribute", added Raghava Lawrence.
