The Superstar left for the Southeast Asian country very recently
Rajinikanth has a big project lined up this year, which is the Pa. Ranjith directed movie Kabali. He is also juggling his shoot for another movie, the director Shankar's 2.O, the sequel of the 2010 sci-fi film Enthiran. With Kabali scheduled to release in May, the actor is leaving no stone unturned to finish the shoot on time. Earlier on, the veteran actor was seen at the Chennai airport where he had misplaced his passport and had landed in a bit of trouble. However, everything went smoothly and he managed to catch his Malaysia flight on time. And now Bollywood actress Radhika Apte has joined Thalaivar in Malaysia for one of the most important parts of the movie.
Rajini and Radhika will be shooting together in the country for the next three weeks or so. The glamorous actress is going to play the wife of the Superstar in the movie. Other than the scenes between the duo, important action scenes will also be shot in this narrow time frame. The film had created a bit of buzz earlier on that two Malaysian actors Winston Chao and Rosyam Nor will be playing baddies in the Rajinikanth gangster thriller. It is unknown if the fight sequences involving the villains and the Superstar is complete or will be shot now.
Kabali is based on the story of a real life don called Kabaleeshwaran and Thalaivar will be playing the aged gangster. The film also has Dhanshikaa, Dinesh, Kalaiarasan and Ritwika in crucial roles.
