Rajinikanth considers Vijay's Puli to be at par with Hollywood standards!

While critics have mercilessly bashed the film, these encouraging words from the superstar will certainly boost the morale of the Puli team

While Chimbu Devan's Puli has come under severe criticism, superstar Rajinikanth has come out in support of the film. In a statement issued by Rajini, the superstar said,"I should say I'm amazed with 'Puli'. The spectacular sets and the grand scale on which the film has been made is on par with Hollywood standards." The Kabali actor went to state that Vijay's Puli was a treat for kids and family audience. While it is great to see Rajini backing the film and the effort put by the team, his encouraging words are a little difficult to digest cause Puli is nowhere near on par with Hollywood standards. Be it story telling, acting or VFX, Puli lacks the punch in all departments. Though, the effort put by Chimbu Devan and his team to come up with fantasy film should be appreciated, calling it on par with Hollywood is like stretching it a bit too much. Nevertheless, these kind and encouraging words from the superstar will act as a morale booster to Vijay and his Puli crew.
