The Superstar was heading to Malaysia for Kabali when things got complicated
The shooting for veteran actor Rajinikanth's Kabali is in full swing and as he was heading to Malaysia to shoot for his film, an unexpected twist detained the Superstar at the Chennai Airport. Apparently he had forgotten to bring his passport and as a result could not board his flight. This uncalled for problem threw the actor in a bit of a pickle. Soon the whole incident became just like a Rajini movie, and there was a huge suspense to see if the Superstar could board his plane on time. Lucky for him, his assistant was quick and fetched the passport right on time and the actor went on to Malaysia without anymore hassles.
A fan who was on the scene took to Twitter and posted candid pictures of the actor as he entered the airport. Meanwhile, Rajini addressed the media and the fans who had obviously crowded around him. The actor conveyed his immense gratitude to the prime minister and the Indian government for awarding him with the Padma Vibhushan. He also revealed that the shooting for Kabali is about to be completed soon.
Rajinikanth starrer Kabali is directed by Pa Ranjith of Madras fame. Other than the Thalaivar, the movie also has Radhika Apte, Kishore, Kalaiyarasan, Dhansika and Dinesh Ravi in crucial roles. Kabali is scheduled for release in May this year.
