Unlike the rumours which stated that the first schedule of the film will be shot in Malaysia, Kabali has went on floors in Chennai today
The craze and fan frenzy surrounding a Rajinikanth film cannot be matched by no other. But off late, the Tamil superstar has tasted failures at box office.
Taking a cue from his mistakes, Rajini is back with an experimental role in Pa Ranjith's Kabali. Playing an ageing gangster, Rajinikanth will be paired opposite Bollywood actress Radhika Apte. The buzz around the film is slowly building up and has reached its peak when Thalaivar's first look from Kabali was officially unveiled on 16th of September. Sporting a salt and pepper look, Rajini showed his style and might as the gangster Kabali.
While it was earlier rumoured that Pa Ranjith and team along with Rajini will be flying to Malaysia to kick start the first schedule of Kabali, the latest buzz is that Kabali team has already started shooting in Chennai. A little birdie tells us that Rajinikanth has assigned 106 days for Kabali and the team would shoot the second leg of the schedule in Malaysia. Dressed in navy blue shirt and blue denims, Rajinikanth attended the puja at the launch of the film. Post the puja ceremony, the shooting of Kabali finally went underway.
