The megastar of Bollywood, Salman Khan is set to entertain us as the kickass cop, Chulbul Pandey again as he kickstarted the shooting of Dabangg 3 earlier. The 53-year-old actor had posted a video saying that they have reached their birthplace for the shoot of the third instalment of this cop franchise. He captioned the video, "Back in our birthplace for #Dabangg3 shoot @arbaazkhanofficial". The third part of the franchise is more contemporary, as Salman’s Chulbul Pandey will engage in a cat-and-mouse game with his antagonist, Kannada actor Sudeep, whose character is almost like a parallel lead.
Salman had also posted a picture with his signature sunnies as he stood beside director Prabhudheva in what seemed like an interesting introductory sequence. It goes without saying that excitement has hit the roof with fans who are waiting with bated breath to catch more glimpses of the star.
But while that is that, we think the mania is only going to grow because now even Sonakshi Sinha has joined Salman on the sets. That's right, after launching the trailer of Kalank, she took off to Indore, back to the sets where she truly belongs. The actress even took to her Instagram account to share her look from the 1st day and wrote, "RAJJO is back!!! From Dabangg to Dabangg 3...It's homecoming. Day 1 of shoot for me today, wish me luck ❤️ #DabanggGirl." Check it out.
As far as the music of Dabangg 3 is concerned, Sajid-Wajid will be responsible for the same. Reportedly, the film will have five to six original songs and four of them have been finalised already. When quizzed regarding an item song like Munni Badnam in the film, the informer stated that there may not be any such song as the story-telling is different in this one. However, there is a big surprise in store for everyone. It will be shot over a period of four months which is from April to August. After the completion of their first schedule, Salman and Sonakshi will head to Wai for a marathon shoot. The film is expected to release in the month of December this year.
Before that, Salman has the Eid release of Alia Abbas Zafar's Bharat which also features Katrina Kaif. On the other hand, Sonakshi will soon be seen in Kalank alongside Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt. It is being helmed by Abhishek Varman and is slated to hit the screens on April 17.
