The Queen actor will be back with Newton in a never-before-seen avatar!

The intense and underrated Rajkummar Rao has been lying low after his last film Hamari Adhuri Kahani failed to impress the audience. Fans of this actor, fret not! For the news is that the Shahid actor will be soon coming back on the big screen to dazzle his fans (ladies, especially!)

As reported by a leading tabloid, the actor will be back with a black comedy titled Newton. His role in this film is supposed to be very interesting and unlike every other role portrayed by this talented actor. Sulemani Keeda director Amit Masurkar will be make this film. The story is touted to have a zingy, realistic flavour as it is about a common man who gets lost in a jungle infested with Naxals. We are waiting for this film, as it will surely have some funny undertones with a good message to take back home. The film is slated to go on floors in November - December.

Raj is super excited to be a part of this film. Confirming the news he was found quoting to a tabloid, “Yes, it's the journey of a common man who aspires to be someone in life and heads to a jungle infested with Naxals. It's a really funny story. I've been reading a lot of scripts but at the same time am being careful and choosy. Manish Mundra, who's made Ankhon Dekhi and Masaan, got in touch and as soon as I read it, I knew this was it."

This Queen actor has two more films in his kitty. He will next be seen in Hansal Mehta’s Aligarh and Ramesh Sippy’s comeback romcom: Shimla Mirchi.
