Producer Allu Aravind has confirmed that Ram Charan-starrer Telugu actioner “Dhruva", a remake of Tamil blockbuster "Thani Oruvan", will hit the screens worldwide on October 7 marking the occasion of Dussehra.
"The final schedule of the talkie portion is in progress and will be wrapped up by September 5. Simultaneously, we're also working on the post-production. Contrary to some reports, there won't be any delay in the release of 'Dhruva', which will hit the screens on October 7," Aravind said in a statement.
The movie is the Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan. Directed by Surender Reddy, the project stars Rakul Preet Singh and Arvind Swamy in the lead roles.Playing an IPS officer for the first time in his career, Ram Charan will be seen in an action avatar. His new, lean for this role has been received very well by fans. In the first look, that was out on 15th August, he aced the style game and looked very bit sexy! The posters definitely got fans talking. Now, they are excited to see Ram Charan reprise Jayaram Ravi's role. Aravind Swamy negative character will be maintaianed in this one as well.. His evil scientist avatar was lauded in the Tamil version. Ocotber 7, can you come sooner.

But here's the thing, October 7th already looks already with 3 releases planned for the same day-Siva Karthikeyan's Remo, Prabhudeva's Devi(L) and Kajal Aggarwal's Kavalai Vendam. The festive ocassion is sure looking grand with not one, but 4 releases planned for Ocotber 7.
