And for those from the rest of the world, the scary images of water engulfing the city and people calling out for help on social media is heartbreaking. Under these grave times, actors like Siddharth, Madhavan, RJ Balaji and Dhanush are doing their best to serve the people affected by disastrous floods. While the entire Kollywood film industry has joined hands in providing relief work, now its time for their Tollywood counterparts to chip in.
After actors like Allu Arjun, Jr NTR and Mahesh Babu made sizeable donations, it is time for younger actors to do their bit for flood affected Chennai. Collaborating with Ramanaidu Studios, Rana Daggubati, Lakshmi Manchu and Navdeep have been urging people of Hyderabad to donate food & water supplies as well as sanitation supplies. The Ramanaidu Charitable Trust will be sending trucks filled with relief goods to Chennai on Sunday evening. At the same time those willing to donate money, can come forward and do so.
Apart from Rana, Lakshmi and Navdeep, younger stars like Rakul Preet Singh, Sai Dharam Tej, Sundeep Kishan, Akhil, Allari Naresh will be campaigning for this cause. With help all set to come from Telugu film industry, Chennaites can't thank enough for this generous gesture at the time of need.
