That's what Jr Kapoor said while talking to a leading news channel. Read on to know what else the actor stated...
Ranbir Kapoor's latest outing Bombay Velvet has turned out to be a disappointment overall. Co-starring Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar, this Anurag Kashyap directorial neither impressed the critics nor did it got cash registers jingling. The big budget film released on May and struggled to do good business at the ticket windows. While Ranbir-Anushka starrer has somehow managed to rake in Rs 20.97 crore at the domestic turf, their film has lost approximately Rs 90 crore. And that's why BV is being said to be the biggest dud of all time. Though Rishi Kapoor's ladla beta shouldn't worry much as he has quite a few big banner films lined-up, it seems the failure of Bombay Velvet has shaken his confidence a bit.
During an interview with a leading news channel, the Jagga Jasoos actor said, "There's a sense of insecurity that's starting to trend inside of me. I'm feeling a sense of friction where I really don't know what's happening with my career. I know what's happening with my work but I don't know what's going to happen with my career."
While RK surely seems to be dejected with Bombay Velvet's box office fate, I am pretty sure the talented actor will bounce back in no time. After all, success and failure are both part and parcel of the game!
