It was a very brave attempt by the otherwise politically correct Bollywood to participate in All India Bakchod's first ever Roast in India.
AIB Knockout - The Roast of Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor had us in splits. The reason, we've never ever seen B-town's hush-hush voices loud and clear spelled out before an audience of 4000 odd people and on the face. Most often our tinsel town celebs take offense to the slightest personal reference forget about the outright offensive details about their lives. So, kudos to not just the Gunday actors, but also Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha for being the butt of jokes. However, here are five Bollywood celebs who will never make it to this show...
Parineeti Chopra: Well, like AIB confirmed on their YouTube channel that the Ishaqzaade heroine chickened out of the show on hearing that she would be "f@#ked by ten dudes on the show". Clearly, we had expected Priyanka Chopra's cousin to bat some not so pleasant remarks and jokes considering she's such a sport. However, The Roast is not everybody's cup of chai or coffee, right guys?
Shraddha Kapoor: The Ek Villain heroine is the quintessential Miss goody two shoes. She keeps link ups at bay and cannot afford a bold step right and definitely not a hatke show like The Roast. Not that we think Shraddha is a bore, it's just that she does not seem like the kinds who can take on so much abusive remarks at once.
Ranbir Kapoor: The first one to comment on RK's roast would be his father veteran actor Rishi Kapoor. Why do we say so? Well, be it his link-ups, success or failure, whether the Rockstar comments or not, his dad definitely voices his opinions loud and clear. Since Ranbir has not been vocal even on celebrity chat show like Koffee With Karan we doubt if he would ever venture on a platform like this.
Katrina Kaif: The Jagga Jasoos actress is diplomacy personified. For a lady who says, "I'm single till I get married" every time you quiz her about her relationship status we doubt if she would ever make it to this heated show. Offer her a sizzling number instead, she might oblige easily.
Sushant Singh Rajput: This small screen hero turned Bollywood actor is Mr Perfect. His responses can compete with the Fitoor heroine's perfectly tailored responses. Also since he has just started in B-town and has an interesting line up, looks like he would rather be talked about for his roles than being grilled and being called an a*&hole!
