Randeep Hooda on Jat protests: I request all my brothers to stop the violence!

Randeep Hooda is deeply concerned about what is happening in Haryana and has a message for his Jat brethren

The ongoing Jat protests in our country have hit an ultimate high in the past week. From disrupting traffic to burning down ticket counter at a railway station, there seems be no end to the ongoing protest. Amidst the entire situation, Bollywood's own Jat Randeep Hooda has expressed his concern over the entire issue. He first took to social media from where he shared few tweets that started a debate. “Ram Ram Apne hi ghar mein aag lagane ka Kya fayda? Baat cheet se hi baat aage badhegi.Bhai Ya tod phod band karo,” he posted on Saturday evening. He shared the same message in Hariyanvi too to reach a wider audience. The Jats in Haryana are protesting for reservation in jobs and educational institutions under the OBC category. The protests have turned violent in the last few days resulting into burning down of malls and public property too. Randeep has asked the protestors to maintain their cool and not indulge in any activity that would harm their own community. The actor, who is preparing for his upcoming film Sarbjit, is also giving interviews on this issue where he stated, “I request all my brothers to stop the violence as this will not solve any purpose.” Also Read - Freddy, Love Today, Govinda Naam Mera and more upcoming new movies, series releasing on OTT in December 2022

The agitation has spread over to Delhi-Rewari, Rewari-Alwar, Lohari-Sadulpur sections spanning across Northern and North Western zones of railways. While 136 trains were diverted, 68 were partially cancelled because of the protest. While Randeep asks the agitators to end the protests, we wonder if any other Bollywood celeb would come out to support him in this initiative or not.
