Randhir Kapoor has tested positive for the coronavirus. He is the latest to get the bug after the likes of Sonu Sood, Vatsal Sheth and others. It seems he complained of a breathing issue and was taken to the hospital. He has been admitted to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Andheri. Confirming the rumours, the staff of the hospital issued a statement. It read, "Veteran Actor Shri Randhir Kapoor is admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital Mumbai for Covid 19 Treatment last night. His condition remains Stable." The letter is authorised by Dr Santhosh Shetty. So far, a number of people from the film industry have passed away due to coronavirus.
Famous music composer Shravan Rathod passed away due to complications from COVID-19. He had attended the Kumbh Mela along with his wife. This is indeed worrying news as he has not been keeping very well. Randhir Kapoor already has some nerve related issues, which is why he has an all-time hospital nurse at home. His younger brother, Rajiv Kapoor passed away on February 9, 2021. He died due to a cardiac arrest. It has been a tough phase for the Kapoor clan. Saif Ali Khan apparently got the jab a couple of days back.
Randhir Kapoor and Rima Jain have been told by the Bombay High Court to produce the divorce decree of Rajiv Kapoor. The late actor was married to Aarti Sabherwal but the marriage ended in two years. After that, she was not in touch with him or the family. It seems Randhir Kapoor and Rima Jain are the only heirs to his estate. They have assured that they will try to find the divorce decree. Randhir Kapoor told IANS, "My brother is divorced. I have got to get the probate made. For that, I need his divorce papers. He used to stay in Pune and here. I can’t find it and I am tracing it. I have put a tracer on it and people are working on it. I don’t know where he has kept it. He is not here."
