Ranveer Allahbadia controversy: BeerBiceps unreachable, Mumbai residence found locked amid police search

Last week, Ranveer Allahbadia landed in legal trouble for his remarks on Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent. Several complaints were filed against the popular YouTuber and podcaster over alleged obscenity charges. The Mumbai police had summoned Ranveer for questioning. However, for his second summoning, the YouTuber didn't show up. Earlier, the YouTuber requested that they record his statement at his house but the cops rejected the same.

In a shocking update, the Mumbai Police revealed that Ranveer Allahbadia has skipped his second summons and didn't appear before the Khar Police in Mumbai. When they tried to contact the YouTuber, his number was off, and his residence was also locked. Since then, there have been reports of Ranveer going missing.

On Friday, Ranveer had approached the Supreme Court requesting relief against the several FIRs filed against him in different states due to his comments on India's Got Talent. The petition was filed by Allahbadia's lawyer, Abhinav Chandrachud. Ranveer, aka BeerBiceps, also applied for an anticipatory bail and sought protection from any coercive action, as he was concerned about any possible action by the Guwahati police. Even the Guwahati Police had summoned him for his remarks on Samay Raina's show.

Meanwhile, just like Ranveer, the Mumbai Police also recorded statements of at least 6 people in the case, which also includes Samay Raina, Ashish Chanchlani, Apoorva Makhija, and several others. As reported by News18, the Cyber Cell has filed cases against at least 30 people so far. The troubles don't end for Allahbadia and others for years. The National Commission for Women (NCW) has also called in Ranveer, Samay, and several others for questioning at their office in New Delhi on February 17, 2025.
