The former couple have come very close to each other again and it seems that their current partners are not impressed...
Tamasha, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, is all set to release this week and so the duo are on a promotional overdrive to publicise their film. During the promotions, the ex-lovers have
come close to each and while they deny it, their behaviour with each other suggests something else. And this seems to have irked their current partners, Katrina Kaif and Ranveer Singh respectively.
On the TV show Comedy Nights With Kapil last Sunday, Deepika Padukone let out that Ranbir Kapoor has a flatulence problem. And to drive in the point she added, ‘Ranbir, hawa ka jhonka’ with a giggle, to remind us of Salman Khan’s ‘Hawa ka jhonka’ in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. No wonder, director Imtiaz Ali asked what Ranveer Singh and Katrina Kaif want to ask Deepika! How does Deepika know that Ranbir has a flatulence problem?
In fact, sources reveal that Deepika and her boyfriend Ranveer are in a combative mode because of her open proximity to her former boyfriend Ranbir. He was seen dropping in on the Tamasha promotions twice and it was really shocking for both the stars. Katrina too has expressed unhappiness to close friends over Ranbir-Deepika “cosying up unnecessarily” to promote their new film Tamasha. RK even went down on one knee and proposed to Dippy on the show.
A source adds, “It goes way beyond a healthy togetherness. Everyone, including Ranveer and Katrina, has noticed it. Neither Ranveer nor Katrina is comfortable with the Ranbir-Deepika proximity and they’ve made their displeasure clear.”
The question that begs an answer is, is the cosying up only to promote Tamasha? “No, their friendship goes far beyond a professional alliance,” says our source.
Will things sort themselves out? Or will things get problematic for the couples? Tell us in the comments below!
