For the 90s kids, Tamma Tamma is not just a song, it's a bag full of memories. Those days, there were only so many programmes on TV where Hindi songs were played. And in one of those shows, we got to witness this thunderous song perfectly performed by Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt. We hardly gave thought to what went behind making this song epic. Well, Ranveer Singh managed to prove that to us. He shared a video of how the whole song was recorded with chorus and instruments and its mind boggling.
Ranveer has shared this throwback video of artists performing the song in a recording studio while Anuradha Paudwal and Bappi Lahiri sang it. It was an elaborate affair. So many instruments were used to get techno beats right in the song. We bet you will be mesmerised after watching this video. In the day and age of auto-tuning, this video is a pure gem. No wonder even Ranveer couldn't stop himself from gushing about it. It cannot be explained in words as there's too much happening in the video. Do watch it till the last minute...
Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania has already created quite a buzz, even though it’s releasing next month. And the major credit for that goes to Alia and Varun's chemistry and the recreated version of Tamma Tamma Loge from Thanedaar. One of the biggest chartbusters of the 90s, the song is still remembered for its quirky dance steps and the foot tapping tune. This new song has retained the charm of the original and in fact, what we really liked about this ‘tribute’, as Varun and Alia would like to call it is the fact that they even retained the original voices of Bappi Lahiri and Anuradha Paudwal. Check it out here once more!
What do you think about the video that Ranveer shared?
