Clashes are inevitable. Bollywood can do anything but avoid them because there are only so many Fridays and too many films vying for audience's attention. Clashes for this year began with the momentous Raees and Kaabil. On one side was Shah Rukh Khan finally getting a confirmed release date for his gangster drama which had been highly anticipated. On the other hand, there was Hrithik Roshan's revenge love story as a blind man. Thanks to their individual fan following, both the films managed to rake in big moolah. But it doesn't end there. This year, we have some really big clashes that will go down in history. We have listed it down for you so that you know which movies are going to battle it out at the box office. Yes, that many films are clashing on one day. We don't know if that has ever happened in Bollywood before where four films are set to eat into each other's business. Four films in one day doesn't seem to be a good idea for the industry at all. Jagga Jasoos will surely have an edge here since Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will be back on big screen after their breakup, so people will be looking to see them on screen. Plus, it caters to a demography hardly realised by Bollywood - kids. That means it will not only get adults to the theatres but kids too. Saif Ali Khan's Chef is still in the making although the date has already been announced. It's a remake of Jon Favreau's film by the same name. Then there's Shraddha Kapoor's biopic Haseena and Sridevi's Mom.

Rehnuma Vs Toilet Ek Prem Katha

Release date: August 11

Shah Rukh Khan again finds himself at loggerheads with another superstar at the box office and this time it's the Independence Day weekend. SRK's film with Imtiaz Ali will clash with Akshay Kumar's Toilet Ek Prem Katha. This has been a much talked about clash in last few months, given the fact that Akshay has a great track record on that particular holiday. Last year too, his Rustom battled it out with Hrithik's Mohenjo Daro and emerged victorious. It will be interesting to see what happens with this one.

Secret Superstar Vs 2.0

Release Date: Diwali

Aamir Khan will get into clash mode after a long time. We can't even recall when was the last time he had to fight it out with someone at the box office to get audience's attention. Although it's just an extended cameo, it is an Aamir Khan production and he will go all out for it. Remember Peepli Live? But it will be taking on the mighty Rajinikanth who will be arriving at theatres this Diwali with the sequel to Robot, 2.0. This time he even has Akshay Kumar to take him further. We are waiting for this particular clash a lot.
