The burning topic in Bollywood now is the Tanushree Dutta - Nana Patekar. The lady post her return from the US has spoken about how the alleged harassment on the sets of Horn OK Pleassss left a deep scar on her making her quit the industry. She said that he harassed her and insisted on an intimate dance movement though it was not needed. Yesterday, Renuka Shahane put out a long post on Facebook on who this kind of behaviour with an actress was similar to bullying. She stated that if people understood her discomfort they could have done something positive about it than harass her. She said she wished the men had as much spine as her. Shahane in a well-worded post wrote about how if the team genuinely cared for Tanushree they would treated her differently. Shahane wrote, "As if four full grown men weren't enough against one girl, allegedly some members of a political party were called in to intimidate Tanushree and her parents! WTH!!! If that is not a huge overreaction then what is? Allegedly, the political party wanted Tanushree to apologise for hurting the "pride of Maharashtra". Can you believe this? Would this behaviour, to force a girl uncomfortable with a dance step, really make Maharashtra proud? Isn't the pride of Maharashtra enshrined in respecting women and making it safer for women to live life? Talk about ironies!"
The actress wrote about how it affected the actress' career and spirit. Surely, Tanushree is finding support from a few brave and opinionated women from the industry. Stay tuned to BL for more scoop and updates...
