So, we all were wondering why Colors replaced Dabangg Khan with the Happy New Year director. BollywoodLife dug a little deeper and found the real reason...
That Salman Khan is the most loved host on TV is known to all. Over the years, Bollywood's superstar has become a synonymous with Bigg Boss. We weren't surprised to find out that fans missed their Dabangg host who was replaced by none other than the funtastic Farah Khan. However, it seems that the channel's decision to extend Bigg Boss 8 and make it Bigg Boss Halla Bol was coz their scheduled show Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat which was to go on air post Bigg Boss 8 is not yet ready. With nothing else to fill in this empty slot, a back up plan to bring in ex-contestants on Bigg Boss 8 as challengers was created.
Our sources revealed that the Kick actor was promised a hike in his fee too. However, with his calendar dates already reserved for Bajrangi Bhaijaan opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, the actor couldn't continue his stint. In fact we're told that Bhai made it very clear to the makers that the extended show will not be called Bigg Boss 8. Hence, the channel had to rechristen it as Bigg Boss Halla Bol.
That's not it! We also hear that Salman will not be a part of Bigg Boss finale this year. We ain't sure how Bhai's fans will react to this piece of news, coz we certainly think that no Salman Khan the finale would just be lackluster, hai na BollywoodLifers?
