The Masaan actress writes an open letter...
Mumbai High Court had ordered the usage of horse carriages to be reduced across the city. They had been given a years time to stop operation completely. Loads of actors had previously protested about the same in the past and made the government take notice. However, it seems that the usage of horse carriages haven't reduced everywhere. Richa Chadda, a hardcore animal lover, recently saw a horse driven carriage nearby her house in Versova and decided to submit a written complaint to the high court.
Richa Chadha along with PETA have joined hands in raising the issue of horse rides that happen in various spots in Mumbai. Richa's says, "The government has given them a year to stop the use of such carriages. But my problem is not just that; I see riders forcing horses to run in the middle of the road in versova. Once I saw this guy controlling two horses and it was very scary. He has been offering rides to kids and I shudder to think what will happen if the horse goes out of control. So I wanted to resister a complain against them."
She is fumed since there was a ban on such activities given by the high court then what happened to the imposing penalties to those who cross the law. It's the actress' small effort in saving the chaos caused in the city and trouble the poor horses go through for this torture. Go ahead peeps, have a look at the letter right here and let us know your thoughts on the same.
