Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging at his home in Mumbai. The actor reports state was battling from depression for some time now. Sushant was ever smiling and a cheerful person whose infectious smile would light up the surroundings. Nobody could have guessed the actor's mental health which is a major concern right now. Just a couple of days ago, his ex-manager, Disha Salian had committed suicide and he had expressed condolences.
His journey from TV to Bollywood had been tremendous. Look at his film in the recent past, Chhichhore, the actor proved his mettle with such a fine performance and such a fine film. Chhichhore was one of the most popular and loved films of 2019. In the film, the actor's character talked about failures and suicidal thoughts. A topic that no one speaks about. Karan Johar took to his social handle and mourned his demise. He blamed himself for his death and expressed he would have kept in touch with him.
"I blame myself for not being in touch with you for the past year..... I have felt at times like you may have needed people to share your life with...but somehow I never followed up on that feeling...will never make that mistake again...we live in very energetic and noisy but still very isolated times ...some of us succumb to these silences and go within...we need to not just make relationships but also constantly nurture them....Sushants unfortunate demise has been a huge wake up call to me ...to my level of compassion and to my ability to foster and protect my equations.....I hope this resonates with all of you as well....will miss your infectious smile and your bear hug ....???," Karan wrote beside a picture on him with Sushant Singh Rajput.
Sushant, we hope you are in a much better place now and are at peace. You will be thoroughly missed.
