Directed by Rohit Shetty, the ad film has already crossed six million views
Ranveer Singh has been in the news for quite sometime now. First it began with his Swiss holiday, then his fallout with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and him walking out of Padmavati.
The latest news surrounding the star is the budget of his ad film which was directed by Rohit Shetty. The actor who gave a new identity to a noodle brand was retained as it's brand ambassador. After his appointment as the face of the brand, their sales grew by 150 percent which is a huge number. His quirky avatar made this ad an instant hit on YouTube.
When you have a director like Rohit Shetty and a star like Ranveer Singh, what else can you expect? Total madness and Bollywood entertainment. Isn't it? The ad film which created quite a buzz thanks to the way it was promoted, managed to generate over six million views within a week of it’s release. The ad film which is loaded with VFX required a huge budget. Hence, the ad film which is backed by Yash Raj Films was made on a whooping amount of Rs 75 crore. But the makers wanted the ad to have a massy appeal and had no qualms in splurging on it.

The makers of the ad film wanted it to be a Rohit Shetty film. The Chennai Express director has never directed a movie earlier so with this he had the liberty to shoot the ad film in his style which would bring out the essence of the brand.
The ad film which premiered on August 19 will have a world television premiere on August 28.This five and a half minute long ad will then have it’s length edited to feature as a TV commercial. It will be dubbed in four South Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
