Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs today celebrates India with Independence day right around the corner we have the kids singing away Vande Matharam and creating the charm for the evening. We have Aditya Narayan introduce the guest for the day Sri Kumar Vishwas the famous hindi poet. Vaishnav Girish is the first to come up with 'Lungi Dance' and a fan of his comes on stage with a coconut breaking challenge. He is Chandrakant who breaks coconut with his head while inspired VG breaks the coconuts with his elbow. Shreyan Bhattacharya is the little Baapu for the day as he is all dressed up as Gandhiji, he sings 'ainak pehney'. He later talks about their visit to Mani Bhavan to revisit Baapu's life and also how they met Tushar Gandhi who is Baapu's lineage member. Tushar Gandhi joins them on stage too. Later another hero joins the kids who is Mamta Rawat who saved many kids during an accident during a trekking trip. She is felicitated onstage by Sri Kumar Vishwas.
Jayes Kumar walks in next with 'Hum logo ko samajh sako tho' while his antics like any-day charms the judges and the audience alike. We are introduced to Karimul Haq aka Ambulance Dada who relates his story as he is in tears, he tells us how his mother died for the lack of medical care as he could not reach her to the hospital in time. He has been since using his motorcycle as ambulance. Neha Kakkar donates an amount of 1lakh to him which he decides to use to pay of the loan his bike is on. He is in tears as he takes his seat among the audience. Sonakshi Khar takes us into a trance with her 'Vande Matharam' we are indeed reminded of Lata Mangeshkar. We are introduced to another hero who himself was a teenager when he lost his hand and leg to save a little girl from the railway line. He relates his story bringing tears into the eyes of all. Riyaz Ahmad who himself is a bravery award winner gives us a strong message of how we should never try to cross railway lines and risk lives. Anjali gaekwad sings a beautiful Marathi song craeting a furore which is her own and well deserved as Javed Ali rightly says she is one in a million kind of blessed little ones with magic in her voice. Aftaab is unwell today so cannot perform. Performers of the week are announced and they Shreyan and Anjali. Kumar Vishwas is requested to sing his famous song 'Bhagat Singh' and he obliges adding to the celebration of Indian Independence on the stage.
