In the last episode, we saw Gaura asking Kokila(Rupal Patel) for Vidya's(Sonam Lamba) hand in a union with Shravan, after Meera(Tanya Sharma) had rejected the offer. Kokila(Rupal Patel) asked Vidya as to whether she accepted the marriage proposal, to which she agreed much to the Modis' delight. Gaura was ecstatic with Vidya's answer and asked Paridhi(Loveleen Kaur Sasan) to offer sweets to everyone on the auspicious occasion. Paridhi did the same and Gaura personally fed Gopi a laddoo, asking her to cheer up and stop being angry.Later, Vidya- Shravan exchanged numbers, and later met for a walk in the evening. The Modis got busy with the wedding preparations and Vidya was given tons of expensive things as 'shagun' which made Meera jealous. The episode ended with Gaura taunting Meera and stating that a daughter in law in their household is treated like a queen.
In the upcoming episode, something utterly shocking is about to happen. As we all know, Meera is jealous with all the attention that is being showered on Vidya. She will regret rejecting Shravan's marriage proposal and will want to be a part of his family at any cost. As a result, she will end up marrying Shravan's father! His character will reportedly be essayed by Amar Upadhyay. So get ready to see Meera becoming Vidya's mother in law!
