Saath Nibhana Saathiya started off as a unique show which managed to top the TRP charts quite often. But the makers of the show now seem to have lost the plot, literally! I was watching last night’s episode, and I couldn’t help but think how the characters of Kokila (Rupal Patel) and Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) are probably one of the most dimwitted ones I have come across in recent times. Here are my reasons:Sort out your priorities
Radha (Bhavini Purohit) has escaped with Paridhi’s baby and was seen hiding in the market. While looking for her, Gopi got distracted and decided to pay a visit to a bunch of snake charmers who were confiding the snake and treating it cruelly. Wait what? So Gopi in the middle of all that haste decided to be nice to a snake instead of looking for the missing kid? Tell me if this scene wasn't as bizarre as I found it is!

Instead of stopping Gopi and telling her to look for the kid rather than waste her time on a bunch of snake charmers, Kokila was seen defending Gopi’s actions and warning the snake charmers to keep away from her. Gopi was then taken hostage by them with a knife pointing to her throat. I’m just surprised Kokila didn’t give Gopi and earful for her utter stupidity!
The bahu was charmed by the snake
Just when I though the drama in last night’s episode couldn’t get more mind numbing, I was taken aback yet again. After Kokila came to Gopi’s rescue, the latter chose to approach the snake and free it. It made sense till the time Gopi SPOKE to the snake, asking them to forgive the snake charmers. Further, Kokila was seen pleading before the snake, asking it to help them find baby Rashi. Why? Because the snake was a messenger from Lord Shiva!
