Undergoing body transformation is one of the key aspects of getting into a role for any actor. Saif Ali Khan built muscles for his look in Taanaji but now he has to shed off all that for Jawaani Jaaneman. He will start work for the film from mid-June in London. It is a 45 days schedule. Known to get under the skin of his characters, Saif Ali Khan underwent intense prep for his role in Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior, which included bulking up and working on a muscular frame for the ambitious period drama. He took lessons in sword fighting and horse riding for hours for the challenging action sequences. Saif Ali Khan will now shed weight to sport a leaner frame for his upcoming next, Jawaani Jaaneman, under his home banner Black Knight Films.
A source informed, "After wrapping up the schedule for Taanaji, Saif is going on a special diet to get leaner. He will train for two hours a day to shed muscle for his role in Jawaani Jaaneman. He starts shooting for the film in London this mid June through a tight 45 day schedule. Given that there's little time on hand, he will be putting in the extra hours to work on his physique as he steps into the shoes of a middle age man who confronts the harsh reality of his life in the coming of age film."
Sacred Games will release in August and Navdeep Singh's next by end of this year. Taanaji will release in early 2020. He also has Jawaani Jaaneman and Shoot Tantrik in his kitty. Stay tuned to BL for more scoops and updates!
