Just an hour back, the makers of Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi starrer Kizie Aur Manny shared that they have changed the film title to Dil Bechara. But apart from that, there is a huge development related to Hindi remake of The Fault in our Stars, which is very interesting. The cast and crew had flown down to Paris in January to shoot a crucial scene of the film and what's more interesting thing is Saif Ali Khan has joined the cast and will reportedly portray the character of Peter Van Houten, which was essayed by Willen Dafoe in the original one.
Talking about it, director Mukesh Chhabra said, “We shot in Paris for a week but Saif was only there for a few days. He gelled well with the team and we had a great time." The director said earlier he had kept the title on the names of the lead character but changed it Dil Bechara, to find the relevance with the audience. "But in retrospect, we felt that viewers would only connect with it after watching the film while Dil Bechara is self-explanatory and people will instantly relate to it."
Rucha Pathak, CCO of Fox Star Studios revealed how they got the new title to Mumbai Mirror and said, "AR Rahman, who is composing the music, shared a vibrant and fun number, with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. When we heard the song, we found our title in it. It perfectly embodies the theme of our film." Looking at the star cast, we must say it has the potential to become the romantic film of the year.
