It was reported yesterday that Dilip Kumar's younger brothers Ehsaan Khan and Aslam Khan have tested positive for coronavirus. They have been admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital. They have been on non-invasive ventilator support and have been admitted under Dr Jalil Parkar. Now, Dilip Kumar's wife Saira Banu has reacted to Ehsaan Khan and Aslam Khan testing positive for COVID-19. In an interview with the Times Of India, she said, "They are under treatment of Jalil Parker and Cardiologist Nitin Gokhale. Pray that they should recover well by the Grace of God...AAMEEN." A source close to TOI had said, "Ehsaan Khan and Aslam Khan complained of breathlessness. They were advised by Dr Nitin Gokhale (leading cardiologist) to get hospitalised as their oxygen levels were quite low. The two also have a history of blood pressure and heart ailment."
Dr. Jalil Parkar had also spoken about Ehsaan Khan and Aslam Khan's health in an interview with the Times Of India yesterday. He said, "Yes, Aslam Khan and Ehsaan Khan are on non-invasive ventilator support. They had hypoxia, their oxygen saturation was less than 94, both also had cough and fever." Dilip Kumar has been urging his fans to be at home to prevent the spread of coronavirus through his tweets. One of his tweet read, "I appeal to all of you to protect yourself and others by staying indoors as much as possible. The #CoronavirusOutbreak transcends all boundaries and borders. Follow guidelines issued by health departments, protect yourself and others by limiting your exposure to others."
The veteran actor has been in complete isolation since the coronavirus pandemic has hit the nation to avoid any form of infection. He had earlier tweeted about this. He wrote, "I am under complete isolation and quarantine due to the #CoronavirusOutbreak. Saira has left nothing to chance, ensuring I do not catch any infection."
