After getting a huge relief in hit-and-run case, Salman faces a set back in the black buck poaching case
Controversy's favourite child Salman Khan has been fighting a tough legal battle for past decade or so, since he has been tried for black buck poaching and hit-and-run case.
While the actor's bail and the suspension of the 5 year jail sentence in hit-and-run case made headlines few days back, here is the latest update coming from the black buck poaching case. Salman and a few other Bollywood actors were accused of poaching blackbucks on the midnight of October 1-2, 1998, during the shooting of Hindi movie Hum Saath Saath Hain.
Not just poaching, the actor was also accused of carrying arms with expired license and is also being tried under Arms Act. Not long ago, Salman had raised a plea to the court to re-examine the witness in the arms act case. But the latest update that we have is that Sessions Court, Jodhpur has rejected the Kick star's plea to re-examine the 5 witnesses in the case.
This is a major setback for the actor, who recently got respite in the 2002 hit-and-run case where his 5 year jail sentence was suspended by the High Court.
