It's never going to happen ever....but maybe in another universe, it could be possible...
Hookups and breakups are not new to the land of Bollywood. Almost every day we hear rumours about certain actors and actresses hooking up or breaking up, providing the media enough fodder to last for a week. Many such rumours circulate during the release of the said pair's film, but sometimes they do continue further, to become what we call a long-term relationship.
Unfortunately, very few such relationship lasts for more than a couple of years, forget a lifetime. But during that little period, these couples endear themselves so much to their fans, that we feel the heartbreak more than them. Chances of them reuniting is less than nil, since many of them have gone to more stable relationships, and a couple of them have even got married to others!
So if one day, when the God of Love grants us a favour and asks which Bollywood ex-couple we want to reconcile, who would you go for?
Salman Khan - Katrina Kaif
Salman and Katrina had never openly admitted their relationship ever, but there were subtle clues thrown all over the place, that confirmed their relationship. The huge-age gap never made much difference, as both looked really cute together. Katrina got her big break in Bollywood thanks to Sallu, after that disastrous debut in Boom, and she had much to owe in her career to the man himself. However, like all Salman's previous relationships, even this had a shorter shelf-life. Katrina moved in with Ranbir, while Bhai is still single and rockin'.
Ranbir Kapoor - Deepika Padukone
Katrina's current flame, also had his share of relationships, out of which the most serious and the most open being his affair with the Piku actress, Deepika Padukone. Incidentally, both made their Bollywood debut on the same day. They went on to act together in Bachna Ae Haseeno where their romance spilled off-screen. Their PDA was there for everyone to see, with Deepika even going to the extent of having RK tattooed on the back of her neck. Then suddenly, all is over between them. No one knew the exact reason. Some speculated it was Ranbir's philandering ways, some say Deepika was finding difficulty in getting acceptance within the Kapoor family. Whatever it is, another romantic chapter ended unceremoniously.
Shahid Kapoor - Kareena Kapoor
Like Ranbir-Deepika, even Shahid and Kareena were too much open about their relationship. Even if they weren't, that lil' leaked video clip of them getting cosy in a restaurant said otherwise. They were of the same age, and used to paint to town red with their open display of love. However their initial films together shared none of their chemistry. The only film that really captured their wonderful chemistry was, ironically, their last film together - Jab We Met (Milenge Milenge was delayed way too long...). By this time, they had broken up. Kareena went on to marry Saif Ali Khan, while Shahid ia all set to get hitched to Mira Rajput. But people still talk about their endearing chemistry even today.
John Abraham - Bipasha Basu
They had the most sizzling chemistry ever, be it on-screen or off-screen. Their relationship lasted more than all the other couple in the list, yet even they didn't make it to the finishing line. And because of how long their relationship went, their break-up was shocking to many. John went to marry an investment banker, Priya Runchal, while Bipasha has flitted on to couple other relationships, from Harman Baweja to Karan Singh Grover. BTW, what's with all these open relationships always having a sad ending? Someone's putting a buri nazar on them?
Ranveer Singh - Anushka Sharma
He wears his heart to his sleeve, yet Ranveer wasn't quite as open about his relationship with Anushka, even though he has a more open show of affection with his current squeeze, Deepika (though they have gone all official!). Anushka herself has openly proclaimed her relationship with Virat Kohli. So not sure, what happened when they were rumoured to be dating during the Band Baajaa Baaraat and Ladies vs Ricky Behl days. But we loved whatever we saw, even if it was for a really short time.
So tell us, which couple you want to see again together, even if it's not going to happen in a million years?
