It was truly a fanboy moment for Himmanshoo Malhotra. Yes, the Nach Baliye 7 winner met superstar Salman Khan at one of the matches of the Celebrity Cricket League organized in Ahmedabad. A huge buff of Bhai, Himmanshoo has seen all of Salman’s films right from Maine Pyar Kiya to Bajrangi Bhaijaan. He is a part of Sonu Sood’s Punjab De Sher team. An elated Himmanshoo shared, “I have been passionate about cricket. It's a pleasure to play for Sonu Sood's team. Being a punjabi there couldn't be a better team to be part of. Cricket is religion in India.”
When asked about his love for cricket and his favorite cricketer, the actor says, "Cricket is my first love and it is my passion. I have been playing cricket when I was kid. I have played in the under-19 matches for Delhi. My favourite cricketer is Mahendra Singh Dhoni because he is the best captain with intelligence and good luck."
Talking about his strengths as a cricketer, he opines, “As a player I am a good batsman and I know all the techniques and my weakness is I am not an all rounder.” Himmanshoo says, "I am the captain of Chennai Swaggers team so I have lots of responsibility toward my team. As a team captain my idea is to motivate each and every individual and try to maintain team spirit all along. I will encourage all the members and try to extract the best out of all individuals so that they show their best on the field."
