Salman Khan's stint on Colors show Bigg Boss is so successful that each year the superstar's fee has only hiked. In fact the Sultan hero is the highest paid host on Indian television. However we hear that Salman will not be paid as much this year. Well, seems like Khan has a different pay plan for Bigg Boss season 10.
A source revealed, "Salman has always hiked his fee for Bigg Boss, but this time he will be taking a pat cut. He wants Colors to put a chunk of money into Being Human." Clearly charity has become a priority for Salman now.
Last year it was reported that Salman charged a whopping Rs seven to eight crores for one episode of Bigg Bos 9. One of the conditions that Salman had continued as a host of the most watched reality show after swearing to never return was that Colors had hiked the money and made the deal more lucrative for Salman to refuse. This year too there was buzz about Khan bowing out of Bigg Boss.
Rumours suggested that the actor was planning on producing the Indian version of girlfriend Iulia Vantur's The Farm. Looks like the Swedish show is not really holding back Salman from doing the high voltage reality show anymore.
This year Salman has a packed schedule, he has Sultan coming up on Eid and post which the actor will start shooting for Bigg Boss season 10. The actor is all set to fly out of Mumbai for the first schedule of his next film with Kabir Khan, titled Tubelight. That's not all we hear that Salman will also dabble a lot more into production and is joining hands with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions for a action series.
We tried to contact Colors CEO Raj Nayak and confirm the same, however failed to get his response.
