Salman Khan’s love for cycling is known to all. For short distance and even during shoots, he prefers travelling to the sets on a two-wheeler. And now, he has taken his love for cycling to the next level. He will now officially launch the Being Human range of e-cycles.
Giving back the love
Confirms a source, “Yes, the e-cycles will soon hit the market. It was completely Salman’s brainchild. He got the entire team to work on it. The cycle has been designed and the team has even done a demo trial. It is slick, cool and new-age. This is his way of giving back some love to his fans.”
Five different modes
Remember how Salman and Shah Rukh Khan made their entry at the Star Screen Awards? They actually did it on Being Human e-cycles. Adds our source, “It is battery- automated and rechargeable. So you don’t need to even pedal.” Not just that, there will be other advantages, too. “There are five different modes which can be used. So in Mode 1, if you pedal once, there will be an automatic pedal for you. Likewise, in Mode 2, there will be two auto pedals and in Mode 5, there will be five. It’s all system-generated and customised that way.” (ALSO READ - Here's what Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone scored at IMDB with their international flicks)
The cycle will be made available for all age groups. “Different designs will be available — for kids, men and women. Salman’s idea was to create something which everyone can use. Something every parent can comfortably gift their kids. Most parents today don’t want to buy a bike for their school or college-going kids, so this will be a more reasonable and practical option.”
Professionally, Salman has a lot of committments such as films with Katrina Kaif, Akshay Kumar, Ali Abbas Zafar and more. Clearly, he's ensuring that he remains busy all the time. We'll be seeing him next in Kabir Khan's Tubelight that is slated to release this Eid. Are you excited for the film? Write to us in the comments box below.
