Recently, there were speculations that the makers of Mahesh Babu's Maharshi had arranged the special screening for Salman Khan as the actor was also planning to remake the film in Hindi. Yesterday, during the promotions of Bharat, when asked to Salman Khan about his love towards south films, he said, “Recently I saw Akhil’s film which was coming out. The name was Taqdeer I think.” When asked about the remake plans of Maharshi, Salman replied, “I haven’t seen Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi, it just released. I’m not remaking it in Hindi.”
The actor also said that he watched Baahubali but not the second part. “Yes, I have watched Baahubali, but the second part I haven’t watched it yet. So I don’t know who killed Katappa (laughs).” He also said that he doesn't care about spoilers and quoted, “Acha mujhe koi farak nahi padhta (spoilers se). If you tell me the whole story also still I’ll watch it.”
Salman Khan is currently busy in promoting Bharat. Talking about the film, it is an official adaption of a Korean film, An Ode To My Father. The film will showcase Salman Khan in 5 different avatars from 18 to 72 years. Bharat also stars Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi in key roles. Produced by Atul Agnihotri and Bhushan Kumar, the Bharat movie releases on Eid (June 5).
