Bollywood megastar Salman Khan's bodyguard Shera has refused all the allegations of threatening a women activist named Shabnam Abdul Hamid with gang-rape if she doesn't withdraw her complaint against Salman Khan. The issue started when Zubair Khan, a Bigg Boss 11 contestant lodged a case against host Salman Khan with the alleged help of Shabnam. Post this complaint, Shabnam launched a FIR against Shera and claimed that she received a call from him, who said "Aap Bhai ko kyon takleef de rahi ho, jo hai aapas mein settle karlo." (Why are you bothering Bhai? Why don't you settle the matter within us?)
Rubbishing this allegation, Shera spoke to Midday and said, "There are techniques to identify the voice of a person; forensic tests will show whether the voice on the call matches my voice samples. The number mentioned in the complaint is not mine, and I have never interacted with the complainant. The allegations made against me are false, let the police investigate." This is not the first time when Salman Khan and his bodyguard Shera has landed in legal trouble. Being an integral part of controversial show Bigg Boss, Salman has faced problems in the last season because of contestants like Swami Om and Priyanka Jagga. While Shera was also accused against assault allegations in the last year.
On the professional front, the Sultan of Bollywood is currently shooting the last leg of his highly anticipated Tiger Zinda Hai, which is the sequel to 2010 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger. The espionage thriller is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and it also stars Katrina Kaif and Angad Bedi in key roles. It is set to hit the screens on December 22 during the Christmas weekend.
