The curly haired babe's latest release - Tanu Weds Manu Returns after impressing the audience and the critics, set the cash registers jingling. Kangana was seen in a double role in this role alongside R Madhavan. She played a rebellious Tanuja and as well as a young Haryanvi college student Datto. The film became the first one in 2015 to officially enter the prestigious Rs 100 crore club. Apart from impressing the audiences in India, TWMR has struck a chord with international audiences and set new benchmarks in the overseas markets.

After making head turns at the Cannes Film Festival, the Bachchan bahu made headlines this week with a new film she signed after Sanjay Gupta's Jazbaa and Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil with Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. Sarabjit Singh's biopic which was to be made by Hansal Mehta was to initially star Kangana, where the actress was to portray Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur. But after a lot of juggling, Mary Kom filmmaker Omung Kumar will helm the film starring Abhishek Bachchan's wifey. Based on the life of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian farmer, who lost his way and ended up in Pakistan, only to be called a spy and being jailed till he finally was found dead. Ash will be seen playing the role of the fearless sister, who fought to save her brother but eventually failed to do so.
Shahid Kapoor
Shahid Kapoor surprised us when we heard that he will make his small screen debut. As per sources, the Haider actor is all set to be a part of a popular dance reality show. The actor will now turn judge for the eighth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and has been given a promising offer. With Madhuri Dixit Nene ousted from the show and Karan Johar busy with his film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Shahid will surely add the much needed starry touch to this reality show.
IIFA 2015
The International India Film Academy Awards have already started and are the talking point right now. Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Shraddha Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and Sonakshi Sinha are all set to perform at IIFA this year. In addition to this, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor are all set to entertain the guests with their crazy antics.
