The PK star sought parole on the grounds of his daughter’s nose surgery, but the operation is already done!
Bollywood’s original bad boy Sanjay Dutt had a made a plea about five months requesting court for an emergency leave for his daughter Iqra Dutt’s impending nose surgery. Dutt's plea was approved, but after five months! And he has been granted a bail for 30 days, which may extend to 60 days.
However, there is only one tiny glitch. The reason for the parole is not valid anymore as Iqra’s nose surgery is already done. So the question is, why is Dutt getting a parole now? However, as reported by a leading daily Dutt has requested leave on the grounds of ‘post-surgery medical care’ for his daughter. Dutt’s lawyer Hitesh Jain maintains his stance, citing the reason as ‘personal matter’.
"An application for parole made in March was processed by the authorities only in August after we complained in July to the Home Department about the pending application," said Dutt's lawyer while talking to a leading daily.
The PK star is serving three years imprisonment for possession of AK-56 during the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts. The actor has about six months of his sentence left.
