Splitsvilla has been a popular reality show among the youth right from season 1. Since it revolves around dating, youngsters were naturally drawn towards it. And now since Sunny Leone has joined the show as co-host, temperatures have been soaring. This season might turn out to be the best season yet all thanks to its 'where women rule' theme. We have our eyes set on a few contestants who might make it to the finals. But there might be more to the story since the show is supposedly fixed.
According to what a source revealed on a leading entertainment portal, the makers played favourites on the show. And not just that, but the finalists were decided even before the show began. Scandalous! Varun and Gurmeet, who have been on other MTV shows earlier were favoured a lot!
Amongst the girl contestants, Kavya would reportedly take the crown in the end as she's also on roadies.
A contestant on account of anonymity told the entertainment portal: “Yes, even we felt that the makers gave importance to Gurmeet and Varun, but I am shocked to know that it was pre decided. It’s unethical on the makers’ part as we have equally put in efforts to win the show.”
But producer Lalit Sharma has clarified “All these are mere fragments of somebody’s imagination. We play by the rule and that is why we are here running the ninth season. People will talk about it and I would chose not to pay heed to such speculations. And I am happy that people are actually talking about my show.”
