Selena Gomez recently got candid about her childhood crush in a conversation with Karol G. The popular actress and singer opened up that her first crush was on rapper Ice Cube during her childhood days. Confessing her feelings, Selena revealed her ‘biggest crush’ on the latest episode of the complex web series GOAT Talk on Wednesday.

According to People magazine, on the GOAT Talk show, Selena and singer Karol G discussed their G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time). Talking about her favorites in the showbiz, Selena revealed that Eminem was her favorite star who played a pivotal role in her musical background, as she "grew up listening to him," she shared.
Selena further talked about her father and credited him for sparking her musical enthusiasm. Selena’s father was a DJ, and he used to remix numerous kinds of songs. However, when it came to Eminem’s track, Selena always got pumped up. “I got too excited”
On the show, Selena couldn’t control herself from sharing her love for Ice Cube, who was her first love. She revealed that she has had a huge crush on him since she was a child. Can I tell you my first one that I had a crush on? Ice Cube,” said the singer, confessing that Eminem was one of her favorite artists even back when she was just five years old.
Selena recalled her childhood and said that although it was “weird,” she used to believe that Ice Cube would “protect” her. On the other hand, Karol G was so impressed by Selena’s confession that he couldn’t control himself from guessing her love.
Selena said that her favorite rapper back when she was a child was Eminem, but now her G.O.A.T. rapper is Nicki Minaj. She further revealed that Eminem was the first rapper she was “super obsessed with.” But now her taste has changed, and she considers Nicki Minaj the best one.
Selena further revealed the name of the artist she dreams of collaborating with. Karol G asked Selena about the artist she most wants to collaborate with, to which Selena revealed that she truly wants to work with Ariana Grande. “I don’t know, she’s... I love her era,” she said.
